Please note, this method only applies if you signed up to our academy before 13th December 2024 and pay using PayPal.
If you signed up before 13th December 2024 and pay using Stripe, please find your cancellation instructions in this article.
If you signed up on or after 13th December 2024, please find your cancellation instructions in this article.
1. Log into the academy and select the Manage your Membership page from the top menu.
2. There you will find 4 x large buttons as per the screenshot below - as you joined either before 13th December 2024 and pay via PayPal, please select the lower right-hand side box.
3. This will direct you to your customer portal in Thrivecart, our previous payment partner. You will be asked to enter the same email address you used to sign up to the academy (you can check this via an order email, just to make sure it does not differ from the email address you use to log into the academy) and upon submission, you will receive a magic link via email to access your subscription details.
4. Click the magic link in the email received and you will be automatically logged into your customer portal.
5. Once logged in, you will see a few options on the screen. Please select 'subscriptions'.
6. Inside the subscription page, toggle between trials and current to find the membership you wish to cancel, then press the 'view' button to open it.
7. You will see two 'cancel subscription' buttons, you can choose either. A pop-up window will ask you if you are sure you want to cancel - select yes and then yes again.
8. Upon submitting this request, you will see a tool tip at the top right of the screen confirming your cancellation, and if you revisit the subscriptions page (the WTWA logo will take you back to the home screen where you can re-nagivate to it), the 'cancel' buttons on the subscription page will be faded out. This means your active membership will be cancelled on your next billing date and no further payments will be taken.
9. If you are within a 7-day trial when you cancel, you will still have an active membership until the last day of your trial, at which point your access to the academy will be revoked and your free membership will be cancelled.
10. If you have already completed your 7-day trial and are paying for a monthly membership, you will still have an active membership until your next monthly billing date, at which point your access to the academy will be revoked and your monthly membership will be cancelled.
11. If you have already completed your 7-day trial and are paying for an annual membership, you will still have an active membership until your next annual billing date, at which point your access to the academy will be revoked and your monthly membership will be cancelled.
