The $1 pending charge on your account is a standard security measure used by many payment processors when there’s a delay in collecting payment, such as during a free trial, hotel booking or certain online purchases (like on Amazon).
Our payment processor, Stripe, uses small "phantom" transactions like this to verify that the card details provided are valid. These charges typically don’t actually withdraw funds from your account, and if they do, the amount is usually reversed quickly.
